BOXERCISE

Boxercise combines boxing and exercise in great fun, stress busting activity to suit everyone who wants to enjoy boxing training without getting hit!  There are over 1.2 Million people in the UK taking Boxercise Classes or doing Boxercise with their Personal Trainer. Boxercise is one of the most effective forms of cross-training available today. It focuses on upper body conditioning, working the arms, abs, chest and shoulders. It also includes some lower body exercises in the kick boxing area and increases your fitness levels.

The classes are done in time to popular music songs and include work with pads and speedballs, along with circuit training and skipping.

 

CHAIR DANCING

 

Discover chair dancing as a source of both mental and physical empowerment with easy to follow choreography. These workshops are strictly for ladies of all shapes and abilities who know how to have fun. . . but don't expect to be sitting down for long!!

You will be learning the art of moving with great posture and fluidity. You will get to learn both seated and standing moves on the chair as well as chair to floor transitions. Enjoy piecing together your own routines and expressing your own take on chair dancing.


ZUMBA SALSA

Zumba combines high energy and motivating music with unique moves and combinations that allow the Zumba participants to dance away their worries. It is based on the principle that a workout should be "FUN AND EASY TO DO" allowing Zumba participants to stick to the Zumba Fitness program and achieve long-term health benefits. Zumba is a “feel-happy” workout that is great for both the body and the mind.

 

ZUMBA is a fusion of Latin and International music - dance themes that create a dynamic, exciting, effective fitness system! The routines feature aerobic/fitness interval training with a combination of fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body. Zumba utilizes the principles of fitness interval training and resistance training to maximize caloric output, fat burning and total body toning. It is a mixture of body sculpting movements with easy to follow dance steps



KETTLEBELL

 

A kettlebell is a traditional Russian cast iron weight that looks like a cannon ball with a handle - is being paraded as the ultimate conditioning tool by the professionals as it trains the body’s eccentric muscle actions relating to all the sudden stops, sharp movements and multidirectional planes of motion that occur during sport. The calorie-burning potential of Kettlebells is also enormous as it turbo boosts training whatever the individual goal. And it's not just men who are queuing up to get a piece of the Kettlebell action, women are too!

Kettlebells come in various sizes and weights to suit a variety of individual requirements. There are 8kg, 12kg, 16kg, 20kg, and 24kg Kettlebells available. Sylvester Stallone was said to have trained with Kettlebells in preparation for the Rocky films. This is the good part… you can burn up to 1800 cal per hour



GLIDING

Come and experience the latest in total body strength training and fresh cardio alternatives with the Gliding Sliding Discs Exercise Programme.

This 45 minute class will cover all the basics. Learn exercises for every major muscle group. Gliding transforms traditional exercises allowing for engaged full body effort from start to finish, it’s hard to believe that such a simple piece of equipment can produce such graceful power


REBOUNDING

 

A high intensity cardio class performed on mini-trampolines or rebounders. Get all the benefits of a high intensity cardio class without stressing the joints. Simple choreography & great music make for a fun workout.

Rebounding is a safe, effective style of aerobics that provides a surprisingly challenging cardiovascular workout without excess stress on the heart, muscles or joints. It burns 100’s of calories, stimulating lymphatic drainage, improving the immune system and reducing body fat. Suitable for all levels of fitness

 

 

FITNESS POLE DANCING

Fitness Pole dancing tones the body and strips fat. It is a great cardiovascular workout and allows you to use your body in sensual ways. Fitness Pole dancing is taught in a studio environment and not in a bar or club. It improves strength, tone, cardiovascular fitness, posture and self confidence and at the same time is such fun that you don’t even realise you’ve had a great work out. Give fitness pole dancing a try - I’m sure you’ll love it as much as I do. You have to be 16 or over to attend this class. 

We offer fitness pole dancing at 6 different levels:
1- beginner
2- Intermediate
3- Advance 1 (learning basic inversion)
4- Advance 2 (learning intermediate inversions)
5- Advance 3 (super advance)
6- Spinning pole!!


PUMP'N'LIFT

 

The ultimate resistance training class combining movement with barbells. This high energy fat-burning workout uses weights to tone and sculpt the whole body effectively and safely.  Pre-choreographed routines target each muscle group.  It's low on impact and high on fun but above all, it delivers RESULTS. Suitable for all levels of fitness.

 

STEP & FITBALL

A really fun and innovative session consisting of a tap-free step class for warm up and fat burning, followed by body conditioning & balance work on the ball. The ball is used to flatten and firm your tummy, lift and tighten your bottom, shape and tone your thighs as well as strengthen and support your back. This is a must for any one looking to tone the body quickly & effectively. Suitable for all levels. 


TAEBO

A challenging, high intensity cardiovascular and toning workout that will strengthen your legs and upper body using basic boxing and kicking moves. This class will surely make your break into a sweat. This session is full of energy, excitement and fun. It s like nothing you’ve ever done before. Caution: be ready to sweat!! Suitable for all levels of fitness. (Please note this class is 'pay as you go')


 

FITNESS PILATES

This class mixes Pilates and modern stretch techniques with gentle body conditioning exercises using foam rollers and resistance bands to strengthen, lengthen and tone tight muscles. This session works with emphasis on the core abdominals, back and posture for an amazing strength, posture balance and flexibility. The class is a combination of slow, controlled and dynamic standing and floor work exercises. Suitable for all fitness levels.

 
HULA AEROBICS

Always wanted to master the whole hula technique but never managed?... this is your chance!!. Hula aerobics will bring a big smile to your face while it will get rid of your 'love handles'!!. A 45 minute aerobic class done while hula hooping


FITNESS YOGA

It is a fitness program that incorporates deep stretch, Yoga postures and Pilates exercises. Every element of Fitness Yoga is validated from a fitness perspective. Any one taking part in a Fitness Yoga class can expect to improve their flexibility greatly in 8 weeks. You will learn how to identify the body's stabilizing muscles and use them effectively and efficiently to improve your posture and move with more confidence. Fitness Yoga moves and postures are sequenced together to the beat of the music making transitions seamless and graceful. Suitable for all levels of fitness.


STRENGTH & FLEXIBILITY

This class is designed to improve your pole dancing skills, by making you more flexible and strong. The class incorporates an aerobic warmup followed by flexibility, strength and core training. If you want to be able to do the splits, this is the class for you. 


AB ATTACK!!

An exhausting (and i mean exhausting!) punishment to the abs and surrounding muscles! Get an sculped middle section for your holidays. It's this year's must have!! (Please note this class is 'pay as you go')
